Lucas wraps my green scarf around Morgan's head as she passes out. I pick her up and run to the Professor's lab. She was talking in her sleep, saying things like, "Wait." and "This can't....happen." When we got there, I layed her in the couch and Lucas went to the Pokemon center to get a doctor. When the doctor got there, I let her sleep ont he couch while I went to look up some things. She also mumbled the name Mesprit. I typed that in, and got a bunch of stuff on one legend. Apparantly, Mesprit, Azelf, and Uxie choose three people, then give them a special ability. These three people must use this ability to save the world. If they succeed, they get to keep thier ability. If not, time and space are altered and all memories are forgotten. Mesprit gives her chosen one the ability to see the future, and can understand what Pokemon are saying. Azelf gives his chosen one the ability of great endurence, including speed and strength. Uxie gives his chosen one the ability to lift items and people with the power of the mind. I print this out, and look at Morgan to see her trying to sit up. I walk over there and help her up.
"Tamaki! What happened, where am I?" She was clearly scared and confused.
"You were hurt badly in that battle, and I carried you to Professor Rowan's lab. The doctor said you would be just fine after some more sleep. How do you feel?" She touches her head, then winces.
"I've got a massive headache, but other than that, I'm just fine." She looks at me and gives me that adorable smile. Lucas walks in.
"Morgan, your awake! How do you feel? " She puts up two fingers, a peace sign.
"Fine!" She looks around.
"Where's the Chimchar I battled with?" Lucas holds up a pokeball with a Chimchar inside. At least, it was inside. A ray of white energyhot out from the pokeball and landed on her lap. The energy took the form of a worried Chimchar.
"Chim! Chimchar!" She chirped as she hopped around on Morgan's lap.
"I'm fine, don't worry!" Then she looks at the Chimchar confusedly.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"I-I could understand what she said..." She looked up at me, then back down at the Pokemon.
"First a dream about Mesprit, now this." I almost didn't hear her.
"What?" Lucas asked as he walked over.
"A dream about what?" He asked again.
"I-uh-Mom!" Her head looked past him at the doorway.
"Morgan! Oh my Arceus, are you alright?" She runs over to the couch and grabs Morgan.
"Mom? I thought you were kidnapped!" She said as she returned her mother's hug.
"The house is a wreck, and Tamaki's is too! We were chased to the lake, and I was hurt, and-and..." She started to cry, unable too finish her sentence.
"Shh, I'm here, I'm not hurt in anyway." I look over to the door to see my mom standing in there, staring at me, tears in her eyes. She walks over, and Morgan looks up.
"You let her get hurt." She take a step closer, inches from my face. I brace myself, and feel her hand slap my face.
"Tamaki!" Morgan shouts, worridly. I hear Morgan's mom get up and pull my mom away. I feel a hand on my shoulder. I look to see Lucas looking at me.
"You okay? That was uncalled for." I looked back down at the wooden floor, hearing my tears hit it.
"Tamaki." I look over at Morgan.
"It's not your fault. It was those boys fault." She looks back at our mom's in the doorway, her mom, trying to calm my mom down.
"I can tell you're not going back there tonight." Morgan says. She looks up at me.
"You can stay at my place, if you'd like.Just liek old times!" I nod, wiping my eyes. Her mom walks over.
"I heard what you said. You are welcome to stay ot our house as long as you like. I will grab your things out of your room, just tell me what you need." I look at my mom, then back at Morgan's mom.
"On my bed, there's a bag, already packed. I was gonna leave on a journey today, but..." They knew why I never got to leave.
"Mom, can I go on a journey with Tamaki?" She asked her mom out of the blue.
"If I can keep Chimchar, that is." She said as she looked at Lucas. Lucas picked up the Chimchar's empty pokeball and handed it to Morgan.
"You can even give it a nick name, if you'd like." He was obviously charming her. Wait, am I jealous? No, that can't be it. Morgan is just a friend, right?
"Well, as long as you go with those two, Lucas. You seem responsable, will you go with them?" Morgan's mom asks. That snaps me back to reality.
"Sure!" he replies. Morgan looks up at me.
"I know what to name her!" She was really excited.
"What?" I ask.
"Aubrey! It's perfect, right? I think it means, 'Noble Ruler'." I pick up Aubrey.
"I think it's a great name for a fire type, like this Chimchar." I tell her.
"It evolves into Infernape, right Lucas?" She asks Lucas as she takes Aubrey out of my arms and holds on to her.
"Yes, but first it evolves into Monferno. They are both Fire and fighting types, very strong." Morgan looks at Aubrey then hugs her.
"You're gonna be great!" She tells her.
"Chim!" she chirps.
"I'll grab your bag, so you two can head back to the house. I just need to talk to your mom, Tamaki, and I'll see you two there!" Morgan's mom says as she gets up. She leads my mom out of the room, and I help Morgan up.
"Let's head to your house, okay? We'll get as much as we can cleaned up." I tell her.
"Wait!" Lucas says as he blocks the door.
"I was gonna give you guys these too. They're extra pokeballs, just in case you see a pokemon you want to catch on your way back. I'll meet you guys at the lake tomorrow, let's try not to bring any unwanted visitors, okay?" he says. Morgan laughs. I smile, he is my friend, even if he's trying to get- what am I thinking?
"Tamaki?" Morgan brings me back to the real world.
"Are we gonna go?" she asks.
"Yeah. See ya, Lucas." Me and Morgan leave. I walk slowly, so that way she doesn't have to go to fast. Once we get there, we start to clean up the trashed room.
"Now, don't stress yourself. If the room starts to spin, or you need to sit down, go upstairs and lay down. I can finish the rest." I tell her. She grabs the broom and starts to sweep up glass by the table.
"I'll be fine. I'm alot stronger than you think. Besides, Aubrey can help to, right Aubrey?" she says as she takes out the Pokeball. As the Chimchar comes out, it immdeatly goes to work. We get most of the living room cleaned up before I realize how worn out Morgan is. I told her not to strain herself to much.
"You look tired. Why don't you go upstairs and pack your bag. It's getting late anyway. Me and Aubrey can handle the..." I look at Aubrey, but she had fallen asleep on the couch. Me and Morgan laughed, then Morgan pick ed Aubrey up, then went up the stairs. I cleaned up the rest of the room, then went upstairs myself. I looked down the hall to her room, and saw a bed set out for me. I walked in, and saw Morgan laying on her bed, still in her clothes, slightly covered in blood. Her blanket was folded at the end of her bed, so I unfolded it and tucked her in, moving her blue bangs off her sleeping, peaceful face. Then she mumbled something.
"Tamaki..." My name. I felt my face turn red, and then she woke up.
"Hmm...your face is red." Then she realized she had fallen asleep and shot up. She clutched her head, clearly remembering that she had gotten hurt. "I need to pack my bag, and change, and-" The blanket had flown off the bed when she sat up. I picked it up and threw it on her head while she was speaking.
"I'll turn around while you change. You can pack in the mornig, just get some sleep. We need to change your bandages first." She got up, and walked to the bathroom, coming out with bandages. I slowly unraveled the bloody bandages.
"Your head doesn't look that bad. Let's wash it off." I told her. She was in pain, the air started to make the wound sting. I looked around ih the bathroom for a washcloth. When I finally found one, she had sat down on the bed, and the wound had started to bleed slightly. I wet the washcloth, and walked over to the bed.
"It sorta hurts again, Tamaki." She said as I dabbed at her wound.
"Don't worry, when we get it wrapped up, it won't hurt as much." I told her. I used the new bandages and wrapped her head as carefully as I could. She walked to her closet and startsto change.
"Tamaki! Morgam, I'm back! Tamaki, come get your bag!" I ran downstairs and got my bag from Morgan's mom.
"Thanks. Hey, I had a question. Do you have a small, empty photobook, and pictures of Morgan's time here? I wanted to make her something so she doesn't feel homesick." She nodded, and showed me to the office.
"Have fun!" she said as she handed me a small photobook with a picture of me and Morgan on it.
"I had been putting this together for a few months. You can finish it. Here, put this one in the last page. It's her favorite." She handed me a picture. It's my favorite one too. Me and Morgan had watched the fireworks on the last day of the festival in town. We had held hands that day, we had fun. I put that in last. The other pages I filled up with pictures of her, smiling laughing, having the best times of her life. I put a picture of her dad in there, she missed him. I packed everything up and went upstairs. I looked in the room, and Morgan had fallen alseep again. I pulled the blanket over her, up to her chin, and noticed she had packed her bag anyway. I slid the photobook in her bag, and layed down in the bed that she made me. I fell asleep quickly. Tomorrow would be a long day.
